Prairie Meadows 2025 Quarter Horse Racing Info Now Available Online
The Racing Office at Prairie Meadows is pleased to announce to all Quarter Horse owners and trainers that our 2025 Quarter Horse Racing information is now available on our website. This information includes the following:

2025 Prairie Meadows/IQHRA Futurity and Derby Nomination Forms and IQHRA 2025 Membership Form
March 1 is the deadline to begin nominating your horses to the $200,000-est. Prairie Meadows Gold Futurity for open 2-year-olds going 350 yards with trials scheduled for Monday, June 16 and the final on Sunday, July 6.
March 1 is the deadline to begin nominating your horses to the $100,000-est. Prairie Meadows Gold Derby for open 3-year-olds going 350 yards with trials scheduled for Monday, June 23 and the final on Sunday, July 13.
Please note we will continue the requirement that Quarter Horse Finalists be stabled on grounds. Read the full requirement listed in the General Conditions on the back of each nomination form or the Iowa Quarter Horse Hair Testing Protocols information sheet.
If you have any questions or would like to nominate and make payment by credit card over the phone, please contact the Racing Office and ask for Kathy Cunningham, Racing Office Manager at 515-967-1205 and she will be happy to assist you through the process.

The Iowa Bred program has made significant progress over the past few years in both numbers and quality making them legitimate contenders outside the state.
